LOGGIN ("we", "us", "our") provides a QR-based site induction and visitor sign-in service for the Australian timber and forestry logistics industry. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use LOGGIN, we may collect:
- Visitor sign-in details: name, contact number, company/employer, vehicle registration
- Induction acknowledgements: confirmation that you've read site hazard and safety documents
- Timestamps and the coupe, area or site you signed in to
- Account information for operators: email address, name, organisation, authentication identifiers
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, log data
3. How we use your information
- To record site attendance and induction compliance
- To make sign-in records available to the site operator for safety and emergency management
- To operate, secure and improve the LOGGIN service
- To meet legal, regulatory and workplace health and safety obligations
4. Disclosure
Visitor sign-in records are shared with the operator of the site you signed in to. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers who help us run LOGGIN (e.g. hosting, database, authentication), to comply with the law, or to respond to a lawful request from a regulator, court, or emergency service.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls, encryption in transit, and row-level security. We retain records for as long as is reasonably necessary to meet the site operator's compliance and recordkeeping obligations, after which records are deleted or de-identified.
6. Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. If you believe we have breached the APPs, you may lodge a complaint with us using the contact details below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

LOGGIN uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work.
8. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
